This is a linear trail, meaning the starting and end points are in different locations.

This digital treasure trail does not require you to pay any entrance fees. The trail might go past sites, museums and landmarks that may require a fee, if you wish to visit them.

Requirements – This treasure trail is some 25 kilometres long and requires a vehicle – if you’re up to it and fit, a bicycle will also do – as it covers several localities around the island. You will also have to walk at each destination.

To undertake this treasure trail you will need a smartphone, or tablet, along with a Quick Response (QR) code reader. On most mobile phones, the camera can also read QR codes. (Free QR code reader apps are available to download from the App Store and Play Store.)

You will also need to have Google Maps installed on your device.
